Looking at ESPN’s Bubble Watch and comparing us to the Work Left to Do teams. Not talking resumes but eye test. Including us there are 20 teams listed.

According to them there are 27 teams for 14 spots and 7 of those spots filled with teams in Should Be In.

So we are in a 20 team fight for 7 spots with these teams. Won’t spend as much time on the ACC since we all know those teams

ACC
UVA-We’d win again. They’ve really fallen hard
Clemson-100% a team I’d take over us without even having to consider anything
Wake-I think it would be a 50/50 with us or Wake
Syracuse-Easily take us, too bad we got them as early as we did and they took advantage of us not being the same team we are now

B12
Kansas St-A talented team who is just kind of hit or miss. If Cam Carter is off they’re not very good, but when he’s on him, Kaluma, and Perry is a great three man group

Big East
St Johns-It would depend a lot on which SJU team shows up, but when Jenkins and Soriano are on or Ledlum and Dingle are hitting, they’re a solid team. Still think we’re better
Villanova-This is not one of the better Nova teams of the last decade and they just aren’t there with us
Providence-They’re better than us. Not even up for debate to me, Carter and Oduro would kill us inside
Seton Hall-SH has exceeded expectations but I don’t see how they’re a better team than us. Richmond would arguably the best player on the floor, but I don’t see any more edges for them in a matchup with us

B10
Iowa-I think Iowa is right there with us, and probably give them the slight edge because of the experience of Perkins and Sanford in the backcourt. Their weakness is up front since Krikke hasn’t been as good in the last two months as the first two, though big freshman Freeman has come on a bit

PAC12
Utah-Love what Deivon Smith has done down the stretch but I don’t see how they’re better than us. Had their PG Worster not been lost it’s a different argument

SEC
Miss St-Very similar to us in how they’ve gotten better through the year as Tolu missed the first 2 months and Hubbard has stepped up in the last 2 months in a big way. I think we’re better, but it’s more of a coin flip type outcome
Texas A&M-They’re talented but I don’t see how they’re better, especially with Wade Taylor slowing down in his last 5-7 games or so. It’s pretty much all him and Radford as a team, though Garcia has stepped in well for Coleman up front

American
USF-They’re a solid team, but I just don’t think they’re anything special. A product of the American not being what it used to be. However they’d probably get an edge with the way the numbers will look for a 23-6 team. That loss to a weak Tulsa team yesterday is kinda indicative of their level and we’d beat them pretty well even if Pryor and Youngblood managed to keep it close for a bit

Mountain West
New Mexico-They’re a fun team to watch, I’ll give them that. Not to mention all the NBA lineage with House, Mashburn, and Toppin. However I don’t see how they’d be able to shut us down or score at quite the same level as us. Their only chance would be owning the boards with Toppin and NJJ.

Everyone Else
Indiana St-They belong in. This is a small school but they’re legit. They’re more than just Cream Abdul Jabbar as all five starters are solid or better and I really like Conwell along with thinking Swope is a good #3 scoring option
Princeton-Come on now, no contest
James Madison-They may be right there with us, and 29-3. Hopefully they win their tournament or they might steal a bid, won tonight and head into the final
McNeese-Another team who doesn’t even have an argument to me

So put in Clemson, Providence, Indiana State, and we are down to 17 teams for 4 spots. There isn’t a single team remaining that I’d say is a better team today or in the last 6 weeks than us, this should be so much easier.

If we were going eye test alone for those last 4 spots I’d easily have us in, along with Wake, Miss St then either Iowa or Kansas St for the final spot
