I posted yesterday that all
I wanted to see was some
improvement. Well, as far
as intensity and all out
grit and hustle, we did IMO
do that.
On the Bball side, we didn't
because of WVU's talent,
pressure, and experience.
Hugley had a good second
half, but had little help.
Gueye can do some good
things. He's fluid, moves
well, and can get to the
hoop, however I see him
"freelancing" way too much.
Femi had a rough night. WVU
pressed him all night long. I
thought he was fouled more
than the refs called. He does
dribble too much, but he
really has no choice since
he's getting no backcourt
help....The other guards are
a walk on and a frosh. On
top of that, Capel runs a
pg oriented offense; fourth
year in a row for that. Huggy
knew it and exposed it 100%
Forgive me for the obvious,
but we need Burton back,
and Horton too. We can't
possibly get much better
with our present backcourt.
Hopefully we "out tough"
the next two OOC opponents.
