Here is not mine by other Website Predictions on the upcoming game. They do a better a comparison than most i read to date. Most are favoring VT because of Defenses, VT Defense is one of the better in the ACC, and Pitt's in one of the worse in the NCAA? It is has simple as that in my view. If Pitt defense finally shows improvements it wins outright and hands down. If not, another close struggle.
This is Pitt's 8th Game, and time to have a Balance Attack On Offense and Defense during this important ACC Toughest Pitt Schedule Run. It is 21st Game, and it is still my opinion, Pitt's Coach Pat Narduzzi is better than PSU's Franklin and WVU's Holgrosen and time to show it Nationally? These 3 next games will define the Pitt Season and can make up for the first 2 losses at OKSU and UNC. Or confirm Coach Pat & Staff still more time to go beyond 7 or 8 Wins should they lose 2 of 3 here. We shall see?

Virginia Tech vs. Pitt Game Preview
When: Thursday, Oct. 27 – 7:00 p.m. ET
Where: Heinz Field, Pittsburgh, PA
TV Broadcast: ESPN
Advantages:
Offense:
Even. Both units are very good, with Pitt averaging 38.4 points per game and VT putting up 35.6 points per contest.
Defense:
Virginia Tech. The Hokies are allowing just 17.9 points per game.
Special Teams:
Pitt. The Panthers received a 93-yard kickoff return from Quadree Henderson in the win over the Hoos.
Coaching:
Virginia Tech. The nod goes to Fuente for having such a strong first-year impact on the program in Blacksburg.
Intangibles:
Virginia Tech. Fuente’s squad knows it can play for an ACC title because it is a complete team, so a win against the Panthers is crucial.
Match-Up To Watch:
VT QB Evans vs. Pitt secondary:
This is a game in which Evans could flourish through the air. If the Panthers are able to generate a pass rush, Evans could beat them with his legs. But if he has time to throw, he could pick apart a secondary that has been struggling all season. Pitt allows almost 300 passing yards per game, putting Narduzzi’s squad at No. 122 in the country in pass defense. As I mentioned, this offense isn’t even fully implemented yet, but I expect Fuente to let Evans take some shots down the field. And if VT can connect on a few big plays through the air, the Hokies will be able to escape the Steel City with a win.
Betting Odds
Spread: Virginia Tech -3.5
Over/Under: No Line (as of post)
