Pitt soccer beats Duke 2-1. Plays ND in semis on Wednesday.

Super rusty, but that second half charge after Duke's score was indicative of their ability to take it up another level. Dexter has been a treat to watch the last several years - what a sparkplug!

Still undefeated. Incredible. Let's send the Irish home on Wednesday.

They didn't look good but got the win. The announcer said Duke started a 17 year old, 4 18 year olds, and a 19 year old while Pitt had grown men. Pitt probably had an older lineup than the USMNT last week.

Interestingly, the announcer also stated that he wondered if Pitt's success would make them more attractive to American players. When you think about it, they haven't gotten many American kids straight out of HS/academies. Its funny though that with Mort from GCC and Peperek from Connellsville, Pitt has an international team mixed in with 2 kids from about the most unlikely places even in local soccer terms.
