Pitt wins home opener against Niagara 18-4

Panthers now 5-8 and the Purple Eagles are 0-8, 2nd and final game of the series tomorrow.

Strange stat--Pitt has won 5 games and in 2 of the wins they've scored 18 runs! 18-1 vs St Louis and 18-4 vs Niagara. But I guess if you score 18 runs, you SHOULD win the game

Panthers now 6-8 after sweeping the winless Purple Eagles (0-9). UNC comes to town this weekend for a big ACC series.
