Lost to FSU by 5. As is their custom, struggled to score out of the gate. Scoring 7 points in the 1st Quarter was too much to overcome.

After her freshman year, I thought Day Harris would be a star. Don’t know what happened to her. Zero for 7 today - supposed to have a jammed finger. So why is she taking 7 shots?

Anyway we have no one who can make 3s, which makes it tough to win. Seems every team can make 3s now except Pitt.

At least they’re playing Liatu. And Clesca looks more promising than the other PGs, though she’s also prone to driving into trouble and taking bad shots.

After the game, Coach White said we need to recruit some shooters. Alrighty then…

Go Pitt.

Another game they could have and should have won.Got some crap calls late.Especially the timeout called by fsu when she was clearly out of bounds.I thought you had to signal timeout not yell it out? Either way she was out of bounds wheather she yelled it or not.

I think she got hurt during the first half. She wasn't on the bench for most of the 3rd quarter and when she came back out (I first noticed her at the quarter break, but she may have come back out slightly before that?) she had a wrap on her hand. It looked like she wanted to go back in, but the coaches said no. After that she had a big bag of ice on her hand for a while.

There were actually two plays late, the one that you are referring to and another one about two minutes before that, where a Florida State player was clearly standing on the line and the refs missed it. The first one might have been excusable, because it kind of happened in the middle of the action and as a ref if you are that close to the play and you aren't looking down that's something that you can miss.

But that second one, the one you are referring to where they gave the FSU player a timeout? That call was egregious. Not only was she standing on the line for several seconds, but you are NOT allowed to call a timeout when you are falling out of bounds any more. They changed that rule a couple years ago, and apparently that ref never got the memo.

I was actually surprised that White didn't get a technical there. I believe that the only reason that he didn't was because the refs realized that they blew the call. Because he was all over that ref, and then got all over a second ref.

Actually in some ways I
feel they're playing better.
Not in ALL ways, but some.
The helter skelter, outta
control isn't as bad, and
that's been true for several
games now. Yes, Clesca looks
like a potential pg. and Emy
is getting fewer minutes as
a result. As for King, I and
others have been calling
for more floor time, and
she's getting it. Her results
prove why.

As for Harris, obviously some
of what's happened to/with
her is a result of her knee injury
and missing time, however she
seems to be moving ok. I hate to
sound like a broken record, but
she hasn't been developed. It's
her third season, and she seems
to have regressed. At one point
she had more talent than any
player on the team. I only see her
on tv, but attitude, hustle, chemistry
look good. What gives? Sorry, but
once again I see it as coaching.

Again, only saw it on tv
and not in person, but
the reffing looked iffy at
best. I questioned those
calls as well.
