Pitt's bowl prospects

I have no idea anymore with Louisville losing and G Tech winning. I think both of those things could knock us down a notch.

It is crazy because I believe we can end up anywhere from the Orange Bowl to the Quick Lane Bowl.

I saw of a projection of us vs Stanford in the Sun Bowl. The location sucks for travel but I do like the matchup.

Hopefully in Florida. That's the only location that might pull my ass out of the couch this holiday season.

I'm not an expert on bowls. With the season over, where is Pitt likely to land?
11 ACC teams have qualified for a bowl and ND with their hilarious 4-8 record can't steal an ACC bid this year! So Clemson goes to the Final 4, where do the other 10 (including Pitt) end up? I'm pretty sure the ACC has enough slots to fit everyone in the ACC's bowl lineup.

On the radio, they were saying Pinstripe vs Northwestern. I don't mind the Pinstripe, but I'd rather play someone with more juice than Northwestern. Stanford in the Sun Bowl would be great. Would love to play an SEC team, but I don't think that can happen.

Until we prove we'll sell tickets we will continue to go to bowls like bbva and military unless we win the conference .
A National audience could care less how many points a 8-4 Pitt team scores.
A Florida bowl this year would be nice, but that's very wishful thinking.

We sold 12k+ tickets to last year's bowl.

Totally different story and you know it.
We go to Florida they'll be less than 5k. NC a tad higher than that but not much.
If Pitt plays WVU in the Russell Athletic, the stadium will be sold out. 10k Pitt, 30k WVU, and the rest locals.

Pitt has a better than 50% chance to play wvu in Florida the old gator bowl is another possibility but sun bowl in elpaso is another likely candidate. Miami went there last year so you can scratch them off the list. I believe NC or Miami will be in either nyc or Charlotte that leaves va tech probably gator
