-Pitt's offense has moved into the Top 15 in the country in points per game. After next week when Pitt blasts Syracuse, Pitt will move into the Top 10. After bowl season, it will probably finish Top 5.

-All RB's Return Next year
-All WR's Return Next year
-Loses 2 players on the line, but has arguably the deepest Oline in College Football Right now
-Has a Future Star Fullback
-And a ton of talent that are freshmen and sophomores

Gains:

-#1 TE All American recruit in the Country, Chris Clark
-4 Star TE Charles Reeves, with over 35 division 1 offers
-4 Star OL Carter Warren
-4 Star All American RB Todd Sibley
-Paris ATM Ford

-Cannot wait for this offense next year with TMAC on the field at QB. Offense should be absolutely lethal next year.

Deepest OL in CFB....

That's rich

Lethal....with a new qb?

No.

You were invisible when this team got trounced by Miami....after insisting Miami sucks

Get a grip. Pitt is headed in the right direction . but it's not happening overnight.

-Which Oline in the country is deeper? Pitt is going to have 2 picks in the first 2 rounds of the NFL draft this year.

-Im never invinceable. I just choose to post when I want to.

-I cant help the fact people on this board were to blind to buy into Matt Canada over the summer. Of course you were one of them.

All RB's return???...Conner?
All WR's return??.... Dontez Ford??
Deepest O Line in college football?...One of the best this year I agree...next year after losing our
two best???
Future Star Fullback...I agree
Ton of Fresh and Soph stars.....many, many teams in the same boat. ALL those teams that
had top recruiting classes redshirted many of them.

Gains

You listed Reeves, Warren, and Sibley as 4 stars. This very site has ALL three of em as 3 stars.
Paris Ford......the one who is 4 stars...you failed to mention LOL

Now...with that said I'm also optimistic going forward, but IMO you're constantly over the top with your unrealistic
comments.
Suggestion: try listening to the many posters on here who so often take you to task and question
these unrealistic posts. On the other hand, you do a good job providing laughs on here.

-Prediction since last January was 8+ win this year. We are getting 8 in our sleep, next week is a laugher.

-Ford missed 6 games this year. If you want to count that as a player loss, so be it. He barely played this season.

-Todd Sibley is on the verge of breaking multiple Ohio records this year. Not only are multiple Big Ten teams calling him, if you take a walk over to Ohio States board, they want to start recruiting him again, LOL.

-Yea, Id rather have the 2 TE's i listed over Orndoff, my own preference.

I'm a pretty optimistic guy and think that next year has potential. But I really look forward to 2018 only because I think the defense really starts to upgrade and jell. And of course the QB should have a year of experience under his belt too.

But one thing is certain with this team it really is and has been enjoyable watching offensively. The receivers progressed and if they keep it up we will have deep threats wide, slot and TE. And by that I mean speed. I am impressed with how #6 Mathews progressed and at 6'5" he showed good hands and blocking.

Soto went from a slow end who looked unengaged/uninterested at times to a real good tackle. If some of the guys who've been around and the youngins come through in the middle we just might really have the defense to give the Coastal a go next year. One thing is certain though we have to get better play at FS and CB.

Defensively, it can't get worse. Passing defense anyways. Front 7 played well. Price on the rush will be a big loss, Jarrett and Soto will sting too. I like galambos but think wirginis can be close, no depth behind him. Olbs will be better, as will the cbs and safeties.

Who decided Paris Ford is for sure on offense? That would be a very bad decision. We need him as a DB.

Your crazy. Orndoff has been great. How could you possibly surmise that Clark and Reeves will be an upgrade next year over Orndoff this year?

-I must be. Pitt's offense is a scoring machine this year. And we get the #1 TE recruit in the country.

-This reminds me of the Jester Weah haters over the summer.

Terrible analogy. No one is hating on him at all. Just think it's overly optimistic to believe he can give us anywhere near the production as orndoff, next year at least.

-Really? So I should expect a 5 star #1 Player in the country at Tight End to produce nothing?

-That's fine. I clearly said my opinion. I would rather have Clark and Reeves.

-Thats the end of it.

Steel and a couple posters here think he will be. He might get a handful of plays on O and that's about it. His future is as a Safety and that's WHERE HE WANTS TO PLAY. Very similar to the last interview where Wade came out and says he wants to play CB and doesn't really want to play both sides of the ball in college. Everybody is Jabril Peppers to Steel.

Lol, you are being childish now. If clark produces what Scott did this year, it would be the best first year performance for a tight end in the history of college football. If that happens, we all owe you an apology.

Disagree - there were people dissing him before the year. Those people should man up.

I agree but steel is comparing Weah to Clark. No one is hating on Clark, just that it's a tad unrealistic to expect him to match orndoffs production in his first year of college football

We don't know how good Clark really is also at college players. We don't know how accurate MacVittie is.

-Off the top of my head Zach Miller from Arizona State did it as a true freshmen because I remember seeing him dominate a few years ago. Clark is not even a true freshmen.

My $0.02 - I thought Orndoff was underused early in the season. But it does take a while for a new offensive system to get the kinks out.

Orndoff's play was certainly crucial to the big win at Clemson.

Go Pitt.

I love the optimism, but you are putting way too much stock into incoming players in my opinion. Most teams in the country can brag about key newcomers. Next year all comes down to one thing. QB play. MacVittie sounds promising, but who really knows. With a 2nd week game at PSU hopefully he is ready to shine.
