Could have been three wins,
but also could have been L's.
I like the improvement, but
I don't see how much better
they can get this yr. There's
only so much talent with
this group. Ezzy has given us
an added uplift. Jefferrs is
playing better, Hugley is
clearly our best, and the
others are added pieces.
I see Femi right now as a
question mark. Maybe it's
hs Injury?

Capel has been deservedly
criticized here, but the last
three games we've shown
fight, and improvement. He's
doing a decent job with what
he has. Problem is...what he
has is his fault.

BTW, next game...Monmouth
can play. They beat Cincinnati,
St. Joe's, Princeton, and barely
lost at St. John's. They are no
gimmie.

Monmouth will be at least as good as Colgate.

I'm glad you said "at least."
Personally I see Monmouth
as a better team. I realize
Colgate won their super
bowl game aginst Syracuse.
What I do like, is our last
three performances. Hope
it continues.

According to Pomeroy, Colgate is 132 and Monmouth is 135.

Our Panthers come in at 192.

Yeah, Hugley’s our best player.

But it’s somewhat if a contradiction for me. What I think one of his best assets is his hustle and effort. But then I look at him and think out of shape. Man how much better he would be if he was in better shape.

Yeah next off season he needs to hit the cardio hard and do some explosion drills. If he could get off the floor quicker he would be a beast especially on the Offensive glass. His moves and ability to score around the basket and how often he ends up on the floor remind me of Barkley. He doesn't have the explosion off the floor that CB did though, but he has the strength and the touch.

Sagarin average rating over the last three = playing like the Sagarin #92 or #93 team. Way better than playing like #358; vs Citadel or #354 vs UMBC.

No gimme? Of course not. They are better than Colgate.

I said the same above. DT
reminded me that Colgate
is slightly ranked ahead of
Monmouth. They have some
pretty impressive wins. Cinci,
St. Joes, Princeton, and played
St. John's very close. I like
Monmouth better than Colgate.

Monmouth will open around +3 favorite against us. Maybe a little less.

They are one of the worst teams in the country in forcing turnovers, which happens to be our biggest problem. Take care of the ball on offense and not turn it over while playing sound defense and on the glass, and we can win.

If Hughley gets in great shape, keeps his head on straight and works his tail off, I think he has the potential to play in the NBA. He is a beast.

Beast is how he was described by the ACC boys on the morning show.
