Pitt still making National Headlines with Coach Narduzzi & OC Canada's Special Plays capturing the National Spotlight! It would be great to see Pitt's Price win Lombardi & Nagurski Awards and Pitt's O'Neil win the Outland Trophy! Wow, and to think in just One season Coach Pat's Staff made an Offensive Lineman in One Year even after never playing that position.

Yet, some of our Penn State Posters say Franklin needs 3 to 5 years to create his Penn State Offensive Line???? Now tell me again, the Head Coach that can find Pitt Offensive Lineman in 1 Year versus the Penn State Coaches needing 3 to 5 years? Oh, is that positive or negative recruiting, I forget???

All I know smart recruits choose Pitt!
CFB Post-Season Awards & Hall of Fames prove it!
Excerpt:

Days after Brian O'Neill scored his second touchdown in three games last week -- and sent social media into a frenzy in the process -- the Pittsburgh right tackle received a text message from former graduate assistant Scott McKillop. "Hey man, you definitely didn't move as fast in this one as you did in the first one, so I don't know what you've been doing, but you need to get your speed back up," O'Neill said, relaying the note............Both captured the nation's attention, placing O'Neill as a leading candidate for the web-awarded Piesman Trophy, which SBNation started and describes as "honoring linemen who do decidedly un-linemen things.".............What's gone overlooked is just how steady O'Neill has been during those other 70 plays. Pro Football Focus says O'Neill is second nationally in pass-blocking efficiency (96.6), allowing just one sack on 208 dropbacks. The Panthers are tied for second nationally, having allowed just five sacks this season.............That is all the more impressive considering that O'Neill had never even played offensive line before last season, when an offseason injury to linemen Jaryd Jones-Smith sparked an idea that coach Pat Narduzzi ran by O'Neill, who had redshirted as a tight end in 2014.......
"He's very athletic, as you can see," Narduzzi said. "He can run. He could probably still be at tight end if we didn't have a need a year ago. Forget what he does carrying the ball or catching the ball out of the backfield, but he's done a great job blocking people, too. "If you look at we've given up (five) sacks on the year, he's done a tremendous job of not only making plays in our run game and pass game, I guess, but he's protected our quarterback, and that's what he does. He's an offensive lineman, and [offensive coordinator Matt] Canada has done a great job of featuring a couple plays that he can do athletically."

I've never seen anything like it.

Crazy how local writers don't make a bigger deal about this
Yeah, they get upset that Coach Pat closed Practices for the PSU Game or won't share Inside Info on Injuries, or Pitt won't reveal their Game Plans, but they know way more about Defensive Systems, Yelling at Refs, and ignoring blow oust at PSU & WVU while complaining about close wins and losses at Pitt?

Meanwhile, Pitt has had more Players with Current National Headlines like Conner, Price, Henderson, O'Neil, and leading in NCAA Statistics along with more Post-Season Awards than anything happening at PSU or WVU????

But have PPG and Other Papers have no clue?

The Social Media Network like the Panther-Lair knows far more about Pitt and promotes Pitt Football as the Old Media die like Dinosaurs and can't understand why they are losing their jobs?
