Pledge per Success fund for Volleyball

I’m sure many got the email from Pitt regarding the Athletics Director Fund.

Within the fund is a specific pledge per success for Pitt volleyball.

I have a hard time figuring out all the different funds for the athletic dept. I usually give to the championship funds for specific sports such as volleyball and to the A412 collective (where I really have no idea where it goes). Not sure how the director fund is different from the championship fund for volleyball. Maybe it will be more for the direct payment of the athletes by the school?

My understanding is that the Director’s Fund will function as an in-house NIL supplement now that schools are allowed to make those payments directly.

Well, they aren't actually allowed yet. Which is probably why they didn't specify that. They can't start raising money and saying we are going to use that money to pay players when paying players still hasn't been approved yet.

And theoretically might not get approved any time soon.
