Range, variety, etc. would fit and would be more sports oriented words than Diversity???

I realize just saying the work Diversity makes some people feel good?

The word Diversity is one of the words on my banned word list but it always seems to sneak in these days!

12 different players scored an offensive touchdown for Pitt in a lot of different ways. That's diversity in the offense, not a way to slip my card-carrying politics into your subconscious.
