PODCAST: Which open job on defense is most concerning?

Pitt's defense will look a lot different this year, and on the latest podcast we're taking a look at the seven open jobs on defense.

Great Podcast again, Does Pitt Have Talent in Waiting that is now Bigger, Quicker, Faster, but Inexperience is like Peak says, we will find out? Last year we had less Talent Learning the Narduzzi Defensive System in its Second Year but still missed one to two plays that cost games like Chris said too.

For example, I recall the Bama-Clemson NCS Game in 2015, and Bama OC's Kiffen kept targeting and beating a Clemson 5 Star DB Freshmen that was badly beaten due to his inexperience even though it was his 15th game in 2015. He was just out of place and Bama Wide-outs got wide open and untouched and just enough mistakes to lose the game by a few points. My point is if it happens at Clemson with 5 Star Talent Inexperience can still be exploited by the Best of Talent until they learn the game better.

Consequently, Pitt Defense still has to mesh against PSU, OKST and GT all back with Offensive Talent & Experience & Coaching in Pitt's first 4 games? Now Pitt Fans will see if Coach Pat & Staff Coaching shows up on Games Day against Top Teams, Talent, Experience, and Coaching that won 11, 10 and 9 Games last year facing Pitt early this year with 13 Inexperience New Starters????

Chris Peak explains it far better than anyone and it is "We Shall See "now how good Coach Pat & Staff are at Reloading with their Recruits?

This is not my worry on Defense that much, because Pitt won last year against Top Ten Teams without a Defense. Chris points out the Defense should be better by the end of 2017 season and spot on, BUT can they do better earlier in 2017.

My concern is QB Browne, I saw him play at USC. Here are my concerns on QB Browne. Max was the Top QB National Recruit 4 years ago and went to USC and surrounded by 5 and 4 Star Talent and still struggled to start?

When Max did start with Top Talent all around him, he still got replaced? Very similar to Nate Peterman as well at UTenn , but Nate produced at Pitt in 2015 as he learned and excel in 2016 with many Pitt Players with experience around him and OC Canada Offensive Innovations Adaptations. Chris has talked about this in previous Podcasts.

So, it is my opinion, this the Big Question coming into 2017 Season with New OC Watson and QB Browne and their meshing the Pitt Offense together against PSU's Franklin, OKST's Gundy and GT's Johnson & Coaching Staffs, Experience and Talent with just 4 Quarters of YSU Game Day Experience?

QB Browne could not do it with Coaching, Talent and Experience at USC with 5 and 4 Star Talent, but Pitt's New OC Coaching has to have him ready early in 2017 against Top 10 and 25 Teams first 4 Games????

This is without a doubt now not all on QB Browne but is all on Coach Pat & Staff Coaching as I see it? As well as, on Pitt's 4 Early Opponents Coaching with more Talent, Experience, and 2 of 4 Away Games.

This will be the keys to 2017 season in my view and can't wait to see if Pitt Coaching can meet or exceed it versus 2015 and 2016?
