Nobody would have picked Howland. Nobody would have picked Dixon. Nobody would have picked stallings. Nobody would have picked narducci. Etc,etc,etc. I suspect the name is not on the list.
I agree with Howland and Stallings. Dixon was mentioned all along, but wasn’t the sexy pick. Narduzzi was mentioned as well.
I voted someone else. Don't have a name, just think it will be someone who isn't listed. I wonder who ADHL might have a connection to, or who someone she trusts might recommend.
I'd go so far as to say that putting someone's name on any list will automatically eliminate them from Pitt consideration.
Take this for what it's worth, which may be nothing at all. I heard this third hand from a coworker who's friend had a decent job in Pitt's athletic department, and now works for another P5 school. He believes from his contacts that Pitt is looking at Matta and Crean initially. Not shocking at all. No idea if true, and no idea if there's mutual interest. Just heard it and passing it along. We shall see.
