Swanigan is a basketball player, not an athlete. Lately he has not shot well, but he has GREAT vision and very skillful for a big guy. He has magnets for hands on the boards.. He is the best offensive rebounder for Purdue in at least 20 years. The probability is greater than 50% that he will post a double double in most games. My stats, not data just from watching him. he could still be in high school though and so I wouldn't classify him as athletic.

Yep, agree. Pitt needs to rebound well to win this one and play reasonably well defending their 7 footers.

This game is going to be great to watch. Classic small vs big match-up. Pitt has demonstrated they can hit the three at will. If they continue that Purdue will be in trouble. Is not then look out cause the Boilers will pound it inside at every opportunity. Haas is REALLY big. I think the team that his the 3's will win.

"IF" Purdue keeps them out of transition, they will limit the number of 3's that go in for Pitt...even in the secondary break. Purdue wants Pitt to shoot the three in the half court. 3's don't worry me...young does and the number of bodies they can throw in the paint should the ref swallow the whistles inside and remember them on the perimeter...

Most of the students should've come back by last night. The Zoo will be full. The 9pm weekday start might keep some of the hoity-toity season ticket holders away.... but the Zoo should be out in full force.

And if they aren't, they should turn in their student IDs and transfer.
