i am not trying to discount or diminish something that will greatly effect us and take away many loved ones, i am really not. But i just want to hear some positives, some light hearted positives that came from this lockdown, quarantine, virus pandemic.. ONe and the biggest one for me is the added time with my two kids. obviously a great chance to catch our breath and hang out. Of course a lot of tv but we did get some puzzles, broke out some board games and got to hang out a lot, which is incredible. But im going even more trivial than that. A few of mine: 1. binge watched cheers season 1 and 2. really forgot how great this show was early, and of course how bad it got later (Thanks Kirstie Alley). Coach (ernie pantuzzo) was truly a great character. 2. improved my cooking skills. still far from anything impressive but have added a few dishes to my resume. 3. My neighbor bought a basketball hoop for the cul de sac and my kids are getting the basics down with shooting a basketball. it's great seeing my little man shoot hoops and how excited he gets when he makes one or two.. now, i need to get better at some home improvement projects. what about you guys, anything good come from this mess for y'all?
