we have to go back to the 2013 season since(if my memory serves me correct) the last time a Pitt football or basketball team won either a bowl game or a NCAA playoff game. In that year we beat Bowling Green in the Detroit Pizza Bowl and beat Colorado in March Madness.The basketball game might have been technically in the 2014 portion of the schedule. I know they are in easier leagues to compete in but it is frustrating to watch schools like Cincinnati and Buffalo produce solid records and as a result ranked teams in both sports while we get shutout . I feel confident we now have both coaches in place to begin to change that although PN is 0-3 in his bowl games so the next two years are important to his long term success here at Pitt while Capel has much more time to build things which I am very confident he will. When will it be our turn ? Also it sure seems we finally have a competent AD in place as well which is essential to this effort.
