Poteat

Hugley, G. Diaz, and Fede at the 5, then. Still probably the best group at that spot that we’ve had under Capel.

Maybe we do not pursue another big?

Maybe we get 3 from R.Walker, D.Welch, Weston, Elliott, Jawara, Carey and Mozone?

Well since it’s obvious that he stinks (which seems the instantaneous status allocated by some to a guy who spurns Pitt), it’s great he’ll be playing for a team we face twice.

Hey, I would have taken him,but he played less than 15 minutes a game for Rice.

Probably correct. But it might be like saying a guy with a broken arm is as healthy as he's been in a long time, because the last four years he played with a torn ACL, broken neck, severely herniated disc, and a busted femur. Hugley needs to just continue on a path of improvement, and Fede needs to bring 10 minutes of energy and respectable defense. I have no idea what to expect of Diaz as a true freshman, but I would be shocked if he's doing anything at the 5 other than either playing zone or going against other teams' 6'7" backups. He's just so thin.
