See below for what our potential class could look like with current Rivals ratings and how that stacks up vs. 2018. Based on some comments from Jim earlier he thinks we could get up to 21 recruits. Currently we are at 13 (numbers 1-13 below) and our class is currently ranked 26th. If we do get an additional 8 recruits (I used my best SWAG) including Carter, Devonshire, Mullen and others I've calculated our class ranking (after removing the lowest score (George) since only the top 20 are utilized for rankings we would have a total score of 1,594 which would have put us 38th nationally based on the 2018 scores. I then decided some of the recruits would most likely get bumps and therefore bumped up 4 recruits (Wright, Davis, Mack, and George) slightly to come up with a revised score, which is obviously subjective and could be higher or lower. With those minor revisions and once again removing the lowest score we come in at 1,654, which would've put us right in line with where we were last year or 35th nationally. There's also a little breakdown below of what the class looks like to get to the 21 total recruits. Would you be happy with this class even though the ratings would suggest is just about average for P5? Personally I'd be happy with this class with the exception of not really getting a difference maker at WR and still not having that plug and play OL that can be an instant difference maker (not that there are ever that many available).
