1.) Lowe and Carrington are going to have really good careers at Pitt… Lowe has star potential. I’m a little confused why they’re putting Carrington at the 1 so much as to me Lowe is easily the better fit as a natural point.

2.) I think Pitt is going to be a really good defensive team. They’re longer, they’re more athletic, and they’re stronger than last years starting 5. They *should* really be one of the better defensive teams in the league.

3.) Hinson is a legit 20PPG kinda guy and Pitt is going to need it. As long as Blake plays, Pitt is going to have a shot to win nightly. Absolute superstar and has transformed his body leaps and bounds from last year.

4.) Still a little skeptical on Pitt’s ability to shoot the 3 outside Hinson. Leggett hit some shots, Lowe has great form, but this years team simply will not be able to score like last years team did. Have to score way more in the paint than years past through drives and finishes against contact.

5.) the clear starting 5 for me is:
1.) Lowe
2.) Leggett
3.) Austin
4.) Hinson
5.) Fede

- depth will be a concern this year as well… with no Dior, no Kante, they will rely solely on 8 guys this year with Diaz Graham and Jeffress being the only guys that should see the court. Barnes needs a redshirt year for sure.
