Here is an informal prediction from "Where are they now and where are they going".
To start off I have no other info that talking to my friends who are VT boosters and hang around the VT program. In addition, I am not bashing Shai just forwarding thoughts I was told this past weekend.
I predict Shai McKenzie will transfer from VT and a likely destination is WVCC.
Shai has had the injury bug with knee injuries and is out for the year, was suspended for off the field issue (easy to google if interested), is now / was going to be down on the depth chart, VT has a very good t-Fr RB and now Beamer is retiring. It appears that Shai has steep climb to regain the starting TB position. Thus, it may be a good time for him to look for other places to play.
A potential transfer spot would be to WVCC. Shell and the other TB will be Sr next year and WVCC has limited options at TB in the future.
