Pretty Hard to start Over with all you......

Pitt will finsih 8-4 ...... and wont make 20 percent happy.

8-4, maybe, because we beat up on a bunch of crap teams. The only decent win is the UCF win, and they aren’t especially great this year.

you put us in the big 12, we are lucky to be .500. If we played PSU’s schedule, there are essentially 4 auto losses in michigan, OSU, Iowa, and Minnesota...and likely Pitt would lose a game or two to the likes of MSU, Indiana, or Illinois. If the ACC was as strong as it was in 2016 pitt would quite possibly be 4-7 right now.

You are totally discounting how they got those 8 wins.

I can see it. We are a 6 to 8 win per season program. This is what we are. Win or lose, next week doesn't matter. It's BC. There's less than 80K people on the planet that give a crap about that match up. If we do win and then win the bowl, there may actually be a buzz in the offseason for once.

However, if we lose both, they won't sniff 40K at games next season. It is what it is.

who strikes fear in your heart in the B12 aside from Oklahoma & Baylor? Texas? WVU?

come on. Put us against WVU’s schedule...Oklahoma ok st and Baylor are pretty sure losses. Texas, KSU, and ISU are all teams that likely beat us at best toss ups. Between those 6 I could easily see pitt going 1-5 or 2-4. Throw in games vs Kansas, Texas tech, and TCU....we might got 3-0 or 2-1 in those.

That conference is also very offensive heavy, and those teams, even the bad ones put up points. Even with out solid defense, we would not score enough to be competitive.

4-5 or 3-6 would be extremely likely in the big 12.

you watch Texas much this year?

Honestly yes, every one of them. We do not have a complete team, meaning both offense and defense that can beat any of those teams right now. Our defense has given us plenty to be happy about but we cannot beat any of those big 12 teams you mentioned.

lol, if we by some slim chance play one in a bowl let's put some money on it

If we weren’t in the Coastal we’d probably be 5-6 right now, looking for a win in our last game to get to the Birmingham Bowl.
Don’t kid yourselves, a big part of our success this year is playing in the Coastal.

8-4 is a good season for this team. Anybody that disagrees is just not living in reality. 9-3 would have been outstanding, 7-5 is still possible and what most predicted here, while the outsiders called 6 or less.....

I don't know why playing in the coastal keeps coming up. It's where PITT plays, not in the big 12, SEC, or big. They just need to take care of there own business and didn't. That's the bottom line.

Big 12 being discussed is just so closet mountaineer fans can feel better about not making a bowl.
