Pretty sick look at pitt's new locker room

Upgrading the program at level.

While a locker room will not/should not be the deciding factor for a recruit. The accumulation of these types of things makes the ultimate decision easier.

Facilities absolutely hold value with 17-18 year olds. Think Oregon made all of those upgrades to not show them off to potential recruits?

I think it can make a big difference, if you have premier facilities like the top programs in the country do, or you have what Pitt had before Narduzzi got here.

It makes a difference. If you had your choice of jobs, would you rather work at Place A, which is a dumpy 1960s office with few windows or Place B, which is a brand-new skyscraper with a nice view and free coffee. If you like Company A and Company B about equally, Company B is the clear winner.

It also sends a message to kids; this program is making an investment to you, so you need to make an investment in it. Get to work and deliver results. Frankly, the room looks amazing and I love what it says about Pitt.

Absolutely spot on, that is why google has all those accolades for their offices. It makes a difference

These kids come in and for the most part are very impressed by the coaches and the city and by where the program is headed.

Then they see top grade facilities like this and it is the icing on the cake. I'm sure the visual effects stick in their minds when finalizing their decisions.

That is cool OP. I hope they get you guys a nice stadium built on campus eventually. They never should of torn the old one down without replacing it.

Ah well, the big wigs are only good at spending money. They never seem to want to invest it. I am glad the trustees are seeing the big picture, and that football is what feeds an athletic department.
