Narduzzi to Purdue, right? C'mon Chicken Littles, where are you at?

On a side note, one Purdue blog is throwing out Kevin Sumlin and Gus Malzahn as possible candidates.

I'm surprised they didn't list Nick Saban or Urban Meyer.

Not just the football program itself is career killer, but has anyone been to West Lafayette?? I have. I pulled over in some plaza at around 10:30AM in the morning to participate in a conference call and some crack whore came up to my car and I had to yell at her to get away from.

It really is a god forsaken place. I can't think of few places I would rather not live than that place.

It's basically Gary, Indiana but with more brick buildings.

An item to add to the notebook: I'm hearing ND has offered BC Adazzio's buyout money, if Chestnut Hill takes Kelly off their hands. The rumor was something about one diocese helping another. More details to come.

With whiter people. But at least Gary is close to Chicago and on Lake Michigan.

Purdue just isn't a good job. No real local recruits and ND is the dominant in state program. They basically get the left overs from the top of the b10. Then they have to compete against those power programs, its almost a impossible job, at least to win more than 6 or 7 games. No coach worth anything is going to want to take a job where your ceiling is 7 wins. They need to think like they did with Joe Tiller. Hire someone who does something different on offense, much harder to do now than then. Only shot is to get QB's like they had with Bree's and take a 6 win team to a 9 win team.

Agree with this. Best thing they could do is hire some mad scientist type from D2 or 1AA who wins a ton of games at his level, or maybe the O-coordinator from one of those programs. Purdue will never have the horses to compete with the big dogs on anything but a sporadic basis. The odds of finding another Tiller who will have them competitive and will stay there for 10 years are pretty low.

prostitutes out at 10:30am? That's kind of cool.. Was she hot?

If you really have been to west Lafayette you would see that it is a pretty nice campus. Now the the town of Lafayette is not that nice but that is separate from the campus by at least 4 miles. They have nice facilities and a great education. It is like every other big ten college town.

if you close your eyes and just listen to the sounds-it's like their talking about pitt.(a few years back)

Kind of like South Bend...a dump separated from campus by about a 10 minute drive.

This morning at the Grahams

Todd: "HEY PENNERS, we got any kin in West Lafayette? How the churches there?"

Some of you people would not be good at writing those places rated articles. West Lafayette/Lafayette like Gary? For real? Wow. Purdue is the least attractive big ten campus, but its still very pleasant. Gary? The only place like Gary is maybe Flint or Allentown. Nah, there's no place like Gary. Due to the engineering and science at Purdue, Lafayette is actually a growth area.

Bro, you are on a sports message board. If you can't decipher a little tic hyperbole, I can't help you. Next time I flippantly refer to another city I will be sure to seek out Conde Nast for text so as to not infringe upon your delicate sensibilities.

We could only be so lucky.
