It’s called a special algorithm developed by OSU mathematicians. Calculations favor OSU every time. They’ll get a bump in rankings and some first place votes.

Not just OSU but rankings do matter in procuring recruits. For the longest time UPI and AP voting cast a certain perception about programs that attracted recruits. Duzz can't even produce a static one week ranking that shows his program among the elite. Has to hurt recruiting. We've already seen big wins over ranked teams mean nothing to students recruited by unranked Pitt.
