I have to admit, I love what Pitt is in right now with regards to their QB situation. I know "platoon system" may be a bit incorrect here but the fact that our coach is open to playing both to see who has the hot hand, I love that.. Seems like, once again, im in the minority here. You guys cant tell me that the idea that our QB, if he is not producing, will be pulled for another option, isn't entertaining..
Lets face it, Chad or Nate don't have the consistency in them to separate from each other, to play productive through out an entire season. Hell, I doubt either could play well enough thru a whole game. Both have skill sets and both have weaknesses. We will get short durations of good play from both, and bad play from both. With the hand we've been dealt, this is the best way to play it IMO. And if one does surprise us, if one does "step up" and perform then great, our Coach will give him the majority of the snaps..
