Question about upcoming Pitt/PSU series

I was just curious that what if James Franklin goes 0-4 or 1-3 against Pitt in the upcoming series would he be on the hot seat from fans no matter what else he does in those seasons. I guess my real question is do PSU fans have a superiority complex like some Pitt fans on here have an inferiority complex that the fanbase would be outraged that Franklin would lose favor with them.
