Hypothetical - If Jamie coached another team against this current Pitt team, do you think Jamie would have "picked up Robinson hard" or do you think Jamie would have stuck with his preferred sagging defense?

That is a great question. I think that Jamie would have pressured Robinson if he had the personnel to pressure 35 feet from the ball. I remember during the Young, Fields, Blair teams that Pitt would "blitz" opponents very often.

We simply did not have the speed on the perimeter this year to pressure anywhere. Even when we doubled down on the post, our perimeter players were not quick enough to rotate back and ended up giving up wide open looks.

I think you may see the answer to your question next season when our perimeter speed increases with the addition of Kithcart, Milligan, Clark to the back court. Johnson and Jones will add length. I think Wilson will add both quickness and length to the backcourt.
