I think it's more appropriate to say he "had" and penn state offer. Everything on the penn state side seems to indicate we wouldn't take his commitment now due to the fact that we are full on the dl. I thought I saw he has an announcement on 8/10. Most people on the penn state side feel it's Pitt all the way on this one.
Yes, many think Wheeler will turn out to be the best of the Central kids.
Him and Hamlin for 2016 and Central Catholic might have it's finest class of top talent next cycle. Adams, and Thorpe both 4* and Kinish as a 3*.
You like your chances with any of them?

I know he was at PSU's barbeque and didn't openly verbal so I thought he'd be Pitt all the way until I just realized TN came out of nowhere and offered late last month and after the BBQ. Now he's going to announce two weeks after a TN offer. Wow, I don't know about this now, I might have to retract my earlier premise and now say he's headed to the SEC. Man, that would really suck!

The Nitwits weave their own storylines with these recruits. It is hysterical. They offered Wheeler and tried closing the deal twice and failed. Instead of saying he preferred to go elsewhere. The story is the door was shut on him. At this point that is probably true...but, that isn't how it played out.
umm.....some of you guys really need to spring for some pay memberships. Good Lord , what is a lousy ten bucks a month. You probably waste that on coffee at sheetz every week. I dropped my rivals membership but still have my pay fos and 247 memberships and it is amazing how clueless the free boards are when it comes to what is going on in recruiting. That goes for the McAndrew board also.
