Last week Blewitt got hit by the defensive player on an extra point, actually running into the kicker was called, it appeared to be roughing. What perplexed me was that it wasn't assessed on the following kickoff.
Watching Temple vs ECU, the Owls just got called for roughing the center on an extra point, and ECU just kicked off from midfield.
I was very confused when the official didn't say the penalty for running into the kicker would be assessed on the kickoff.
Does anyone know why we didn't get at least 5 yds forward on the kickoff?
