Can I see the raw data (again)? That "for the most part" old white men don't like educated, liberal women?
Not agreeing with their politics and not wanting to vote for them is also not the same as disliking them because they're uppity wimmens.
Because old white men "for the most part" only value wimmens if they're long-haired with a minimum 32C chest, right?
Can I see the raw data (again again)?
I guess I was wrong when I thought Souf would be too smart to ever trot out that stupidest of the newly popular political neologisms of this decade, "the right side of history."
The only recent issue that liberals have been on the right side of is gay marriage and gay rights in general. Financial policy... liberal principles in both Europe and the US have delivered weak growth and in Europe the backlash against them is tearing the continent apart little by little. Multiculturalism, at least the kind implemented by public policy there, is now viewed as a mistake. Here in the US, even the vast majority of liberals agree with the generally regarded as conservative position of a two-parent family being ideal. Not exclusively heterosexual two-parent families, but it was only a generation ago that single mothers were viewed as great for empowering themselves or having the chance to empower themselves in the family context independent of men, not as women in a bad situation with bad prospects for them and their children. Liberals have essentially swallowed whole conservative, even neoconservative principles on national security and the intelligence complex since Obama became president. What is the difference between Obama and Bush on war and spying? Obama doesn't send ground troops, except special forces raids. That's the only difference on war. There is no difference at all on spying.
Tell me some of these conservative principles that you think keep failing when implemented and what issues liberals are on the right side of history. I'll just pre-emptively say that polarizing race issues by trying to guilt trip whites and making negative generalizations about whites and their alleged conscious or unconscious universal racism and "privilege," as has become vogue in liberal thought, is not being on the right side of history.
