I love Paul Narduzzi. I liked the hire a LOT and was super optimistic that he was THE guy. The teams performance this year was validating of what my instincts were telling me. I also think he is doing a very good job recruiting.
That said, from a non homer's perspective I have absolutely no issue with this discussion.
Fact is, he has one year as a HC, as good as it was.
And, the coastal already had some darn fine coaches in Cutcliff, Johnson and Fedora before Miami and VA made super hires and VT got a darn fine coach to replace its fading legend.
I don't have an issue with any of these guys being "ranked" ahead of Nards after one year, outside of maybe Fuentes ...
Richt is a proven winner at big time program, Cutcliffe literally has worked miracles at Duke, Johnson is a darn fine coach as id Mendenhall, Fedora has a strong track record ...
