Sort of a hypothetical because of course two of these players aren't signed yet, but based on what you know, read, and seen from these four guys......
Who are you most excited about among the younger RB's for Pitt?
A) Vincent Davis - He has one season to his credit and rushed for 314 yards and 5 touchdowns last season, including some long runs. Davis sort of pushed ahead in the bowl game and was the primary running back that night. He's the smallest in stature, but has some college running experience.
B) Israel Abanikanda - 'Izzy' enrolled early and participated in spring ball before the virus shut everything down. He has great straightaway speed, and even showcased that when I was covering practice back in March. AT 5'11" and 195 pounds he has good size to go along with his good speed.
C) Rodney Hammond - He committed in the middle of last season and sort of seems to be a forgotten man in this recruiting class. He's a bit bigger than Davis, but also on the smaller side. Looks like he has some return skills as well.
D) Malik Newton - Obviously just committed, but Chris and I have talked about him for a few weeks. Newton is a big bruising back, but has been a pretty prolific runner at the HS level and seems to have speed to go with his size.
Just a 'for fun' type of question...
