Looks like Coach Pat & Staff are recruiting Big Time in Big Ten Midwest for Pitt!
EXCERPTS:
When running back Todd Sibley flipped his commitment from Ohio State to Pitt, it emphasized two aspects of coach Pat Narduzzi's recruiting strategy:

• He likes to have depth at running back.
• He knows he can recruit in the Midwest, and he doesn't want to waste that opportunity.

“Narduzzi has a strong reputation in the Midwest,” said Rivals.com recruiting analyst Josh Helmholdt, who focuses on that region. “As long as (Pitt) keeps the wins coming, they are going to be able to recruit the Midwest for a long time.”................

“And mom loved the academics (at Pitt). He's a smart kid,” said Tyrrell, noting Sibley has a 3.5 grade-point average. “He's picking a school not (solely) based on football.” Tyrrell described Sibley as a “north-south runner who prefers running in between the tackles. And he can catch the ball out of the backfield. “He's not a Jerome Bettis-type kid, but he prefers the physical style.”
