I think we would only take both of them if we knew one of our current guards were not coning back.Truth is, we could really use more than one backcourt scorer, and if we're not gonna get a decent post man in 2015, why not?
...they aren't going to want to come in and share the position with each other, when there are other schools very interested in them.
We will take anyone that swears they will stay.Truth is, we could really use more than one backcourt scorer, and if we're not gonna get a decent post man in 2015, why not?
Of course Pitt would take both but its extremely unlikely both would commit. If somebody commits, the other crosses Pitt off as somebody else said. However, if I'm Jamie I'm telling Smith he's the starter at the 2 (he's not transferring to sit) and Nwamu that he's starting at the 3 over Jeter and Jones. It would be like the Louisville model as they just landed 2 high profile grad transfers at the 2 and 3.

I think we will get a post man. However, more and more, it's becoming my belief that we could take another guard because Damon Wilson may need a year of prep school because of qualification issues.
Keep in mind that I don't KNOW that this will be the case with Wilson, and I'd hate to get a rumor started such as this. I do know that Wilson is a good student, and this issues are much more with his school, I would suspect.
We'll probably know a little more in the next 48 hours as that is supposed to be the timeframe for Diallo's decision. I still understand that Europe is still a real possibility for him. He could still pick a school though (even if he's not going to qualify.) But Diallo wants to play next year, then go to the NBA. Damon could prep a year.
Sounds like OSNA has a structural problem with their core courses and the Clearinghouse. Kobie Eubanks ran into that last year now Diallo and Wilson might be facing the same problem. It used to be an issue with a lot of religious schools but most of them made the adjustment. That's really unfortunate.
