Real strong.
August 28 (Saturday) is kind of a "Week Zero", some weird games, but one Big 10 one in Nebraska and Illinois. But that is not what I am talking about. Though it is still college football.
Thursday Night Sept 2, Ohio State is at Minnesota. Breaking in a new QB, could be interesting.
Also, Bowling Green is at Tennessee, so we get a preview of the Vols.
Friday night Sept 3. HUGE game for us, Coastal ramifications as UNC visits Lane Stadium and Va Tech. UNC gets to see if the hype is justified right away.
Michigan State also goes to Northwestern. Again, its college football.
Sat Sept 4th.
Nitters at Wisconsin at Noon.
Western Michigan at Michigan Noon Again, a preview game for us.
Alabama at Miami at 3:30. Good luck with that, the U.
Indiana at Iowa at 3:30. Indiana are they for real? We will see
WVU at Maryland at 3:30 Geographical rivals
Of course Pitt at 4 against the Fighting Doctor J's.
Ranked Louisiana (not LSU) but Louisiana takes on Texas and let's see if Texas can get out of their own way.
Huge game with national implications...or not. #5 UGa and #3 Clemson at 8:00. Got to figure Clemson can almost lock up a playoff spot with a win.
LSU at UCLA 8:30
BYU at Arizona 10:00 for your late night viewing
Sunday Sept 5th
Notre Dame vs FSU. Big game for ND and FSU. FSU could jump start their program. ND loses, they could be headed to a 6-6 type of season
Mon Sept 6th.
Louisville at Ole Miss. Big game for the ACC.
Overall, good statement week for the ACC.
Clemson plays UGA
Louisville plays Ole Miss. Would do the conference well to go 2-0 against the SEC.
Florida State and ND.
Also, don't discount the intra conference game, UNC and VT. The ACC needs some highly ranked teams to provide more visibility and not your 7-5 Coastal chump served up on a platter for Clemson to destroy.
