Reasons why I think Robinson played much of the season

injured: He had a hamstring injury. Perhaps it never healed. How could it with the minutes he logged and the tasks he was assigned? Robinson was asked to be basically the teams only ball handler/distributor and it defensive stopper.

In seasons one and two, James seemed much more willing to take the ball to the goal. He even tried to take over in late game situations at times. I felt he was also obviously better at hitting wide open jumpers those years. This year something was amiss. As some have said, maybe it was this years supporting cast.

And he doesn't appear to be a kid who complains about anything. Some say he's not a leader; I think his demeanor makes him a leader.

He did tweak a hammy about 1/3 into the season, went to the locker room for about 10 minutes and went back into the game with a noticeable limp. He did the same thing the year before.

James appeared to be slower this year, but Dixon did say we were fine physically before the NC St game.

Then again, he was unlikely to put a big target on JRob by saying "he's slowed by a hamstring."

As I've posted, there must be some reason his defense has dropped off since his freshman year.

You sure it was a hamstring and not a "lower body injury"?
