Right before April 15, Mark Cuban tweeted that while some wealthy people try to pay nothing or almost nothing in taxes, he was proud and grateful to be sending a check for $228 Million to the IRS.
Knowing how big a sportsman he is, I can’t help but wonder how different Pitt’s NIL situation would be today if Cuban hadn’t transferred to Indiana because Pitt didn’t have an undergrad business major back when he was in school.
He is primarily a BB fan, and I have little doubt that he was instrumental in Indiana signing 3 of the top portal BB transfers so far. But, I suspect that if he had graduated from Pitt, our NIL program would be far more successful in all sports — not just in BB. Remember, his teenage years were lived when Pitt was a national power in football.
