I'll have a complete update on 2016 DE Desmond Chapple posted tomorrow. We're going to catch up and do a full interview after school, but I have confirmed with him already that he'll take an unofficial visit to Pitt for the Notre Dame game in a couple weeks.
Chapple has never been to Pitt before, but the Panthers are clearly his top offer and have been on him for awhile now. I actually get the vibe that there's a solid chance he could make a commitment sooner than later, especially if the staff cranks up the heat. That said, it's also important to note that both Iowa and Maryland have stepped up interest in recent weeks. Both could be close to offering, so we'll see what happens.
