The first two commitments in the class of 2016 are still fresh for the Pitt coaching staff, but CJ Thorpe is one of them.
Thorpe took in Pitt's first scrimmage of spring camp on Saturday, and he spoke to Panther-Lair.com about the experience.
"They looked really good; the offense flowed really well, they had some good blocking schemes and everything seemed really good," Thorpe said. "I talked to most of the coaches, the offensive line coach, the head coach, everybody, and it was good to see all of them and see how they worked in game situations. Because that's how they were treating it. They were all serious, with head phones and everything. So that was good."
