Pitt wasn't a serious consideration for Pat Narduzzi was hired. Now the Panthers are legitimate contenders for Brown, and the four-star Potomac (Md.) Bullis School linebacker visited Pitt on Sunday.

"I didn't really think too much about Pitt before, but Coach Narduzzi was the reason I took a visit," Brown told Panther-Lair.com Sunday night. "Having a great defensive coordinator come down and be the head coach made a big difference; that got me to visit and the visit was very impressive. I definitely liked it more than I thought I would, and they're definitely on my radar now."
