"Pitt offered me [two weeks ago]," Lyke told Panther-Lair.com. "I didn't know they had interest in me. Coach (Pat) Narduzzi was at Michigan State, so I had some interest from him there and then when he went to Pitt, I guess they worked on their in-state guys first and then started into the out-of-state guys.
"Landan Salem was at Michigan State and he's there now helping with their recruiting, and I guess he brought up my name and they offered."
