We'll have to back up a bit on the Anthony Long commitment news. You might have noticed that Pat Narduzzi didn't tweet out his signature "#PittIsIt" signal for when a new commitment comes in; that's because Long didn't actually speak with Narduzzi.
Moreover, I'm not sure Long is a "take" at this point for Pitt, even after he speaks with Narduzzi (which he hopes to do tonight). It sounds like Pitt likes him but the coaches want to see more of him, ideally at a prospect camp this summer.
So the commitment is off for now. We'll keep monitoring the situation and post any developments we pick up.
