Detroit (Mich.) King had about 15 players visit Pitt on Tuesday; we ran an article on 2017 DB Ambry Thomas, who Donnie Corley was also on the visit, and while he's trying to keep things quiet in his recruitment, I did hear that he has a lot of respect for Pat Narduzzi and likes Tyler Boyd quite a bit.
Overall, it sounds like everyone around that high school - which turns out some good talent - has favorable views of Narduzzi. I asked one of the King coaches what he thought of Narduzzi, and he said "Love him. I think he's going to be great for Pitt. He's a great recruiter. He's not lazy at all and is intense."
Plus it doesn't hurt to have two Detroit natives on staff in CB coach Renaldo Hill and DL coach Tom Sims. So Pitt made some good impressions on those visitors.
Corley and Thomas are the only two of the group that have offers from Pitt, but the coaches expressed a lot of interest in RB sophomore highlights). Pitt wants those three guys to come to camp this summer.
