I have a feeling this recruiting class is going to be a different animal than us Pitt fans are used to.
I would say Pitt recruiting has been weighted heavily leaning towards taking kids from the North East, and specifically from PA for many years. Pitt has competed a lot for the top local talent specifically in Western PA.
What I believe Pitt will end up with in 2016 is a roster of kids from many different states. While I think Narduzzi is recruiting Western PA, I think there are going to be a lot more kids coming from unusual places than in the past. I think Western PA is a great base, but it is obvious Pitt isn't going to get every kid from this area. Narduzzi realizes this and is making a lot of offers in other states to guard against being shut out like Pitt was last year in Defensive End recruiting.
I think we have already, and will see more, of kids popping up who weren't on our radar as main targets, who end up being commits.
I think this staff will keep Chris even busier than ever.
