Refs let Louisville

When I was a young’n I always used to bitch about the refs cheating my team. Then I grew up!!!!!
There could have been an ejection on a foul called on Cummings because of the actions of the screener. It was so blatant that a makeup call was made shortly thereafter.

Cummings also got forcefully planted on his ass when he made a non scoring move with the ball into the lane from the side of the lane. Turnover, nothing called.

He was manhandled all night.

Its wrong to point that out? Sorry, I did not know that.

I didn't understand why they didnt at least review that like the Burton play vs Duke.

You are absolutely correct on that non call. But I stop short of saying refs cost us games.

I give the refs some credit — after clearly blowing that moving screen no-call on the Louisville big man in the first half, they gave Pitt a make up on the next defensive possession.

Well the game of BB is evolving to the point that color analysts have to explain offensive fouls each and every game. Why and how so? When did this change? Was there a meeting? This notion of manning up and moving on D and then flopping like a bus hit you makes me wanna puke. These are solid athletes who you would fear in an alley yet there they go flying thru the air. Yeah this has been covered ad nauseam.

Can’t say I agree. Sure there may be some good acting going on with flops but I think that’s more the exception than the rule.

When I’m watching live and it happens, I question intentional flop here and there. But once they show the replay I usually think nope, that guy legit got run into and thrown back without any exaggerated or intentional flopping by the defender. Maybe the defenders are better actors than I’m giving them credit for.

Had to first stop laughing over the notion that someone would be bitching about the refs after we won a game by a larger margin than any ACC game we've played in just over seven years.
I mean we literally have the best foul differential in the league and won an ACC title in football last year and people will continue to argue those bastards in Greensboro have it out for us. It’s exhausting. Pitt has had it out for Pitt

A lot of it has to do with Pitt players, coaches and administrators history of kicking puppies in the head with steel boots and making jokes about those bald kids in the St. Jude's commercials...Just a normal understandable human reaction for these refs to continually put the hammer down seemingly unfairly on Pitt.
