PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Former University of Pittsburgh running back James Conner got good news ahead of the 2017 NFL draft. The former Pitt running back received a clean scan according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Pitt RB James Conner, who missed most of 2015 with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, received a clean scan today, a week prior to combine, per source....................Connner announced in 2015 that he had been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. “I will play football again. I will be at Heinz Field again. I have the best coaches and teammates in the country. I thank God I chose Pitt because now I also have the best doctors in the country and together we will win. I know this city has my back,” Conner said at the time.........He was also named the recipient of the prestigious Brian Piccolo Award and the 2016 Disney Sports Award.

I'm not gonna say James will have scouts re-looking at their stop watches when he finishes his runs, obstacle courses, weight lifting drills, etc.
But what this kid will finish off the charts in will be his character, personality test...I think they call it the Horshack Test or something to that effect ? WTF do I know....But I do know when they take James Conner into the interview room to see what kind of individual he is, does he have character, personality, heart....is he a team player, will he back down when things get tough(I think all us Pitt fans know the answer to that one), etc. James Conner will climb up that board to the point where he is selected at lowest in the 4th-5th round.
I just cannot see how any staff, organization will be able to bypass this young man if they need a football player.....forget about it.

H2 PITT !!!

Congrats James! One question - in that picture is he sporting a onesie???????

I love me some James always, but the onesie is a bit of a mood breaker.....
BTW, I saw La La Land, Loved it went back 3 times. Thought it was more Blues than Jazz, but what great writing and the Creator admitted on PBS & NPR he took a little bit from other Musicals, Songs, and Movies in the past showing Young People can turn the past into Modern Beauty too in Movies.

Saw The Founder too, great job again by Keaton.

Bitter Harvest & Zookeepers Wife look great will see one tomorrow
. Academy Awards tonight always like them.

Steelers are drafting him in 4th. I'm feeling it.

Peterman and Conner in the 4th and 5th make a lot of sense for the Steelers. I'm not sure if Nate lasts that long but he'd be a smart selection. I think he will at least be a solid backup and could round into a starter eventually. Conner would go a long way to replenishing a RB corp that was weak beyond the top two.

Yes you may, and You Are Correct Madam. I really enjoy the blending of dialogue with the musical numbers, and it was very reflective of Artists trying to make it, and the ending was marvelous with its dual approach. I loved the guys car too.

I am surprised it was not nominated for Visual Special Effects. I think it should win 6 to 8 Awards!

Pulling for it for Best Picture. "Lion" comes in a close second, but La La was my favorite.
