What??? Our scheduling people will NEVER learn. We want Wofford, UNH and Slippery rock so we can start 3-0 before we get de-pantsed by mediocre P5 teams.Per PSN:

Hey, I’d take a series with Washington. I’d probably make that trip as well; what a beautiful stadium they have along the water in Seattle.Lolololol. I hated the Wisconsin series to begin with. Its a 100% guaranteed loss on the road and a 90% guaranteed loss at home for a few thousand extra tickets, no buzz, and no stength of schedule points. I am sure the Ireland promoters are paying us a nice sum but what an all-time scheduling L. Heather has done a really poor job of football scheduling. Next will be home and homes with Texas Tech and Washington.

True. Give me WVU and then go really big (blue blood) or really small (FCS). As you mention, lots to lose but not much to gain in between.Yea but what I mean is we keep scheduling these no-buzz games. No extra ticket sales. Guaranteed loss on the road. Probable loss at home. Stop doing it!
Our OOC should be:
Duquesne or RMU
MAC
CUSA or Sun Belt
WVU
Yeah since Cinci, Tennessee, Oklahoma State really packed the stadium. Hardly any open seats for those games right? How would you like to work in the AD's office and try to peddle season tickets for that parade of Tomato cans.
And the UConn series is stupid AF
What's the point of playing in Ireland against Wisconsin.
I'm assuming it's the big giant check that the game organizers will write us.
My problem with it will be if that changes the Wisconsin series to a two game, home and home, to a two game, one at their place and one in Ireland series. Unless by playing them over there we get to keep all the extra money. Which seems unlikely.
Tennessee had a decent crowd. Brought some fans to the Burgh.Yeah since Cinci, Tennessee, Oklahoma State really packed the stadium. Hardly any open seats for those games right?
Not if Edsall was still the coach. He would go for two in OT when he didn’t have too again.lolUConn is exactly the kind of series you should be playing if you want wins. Hell, we would probably even beat them this year!
Right. I’ve been on the Pitt board(s) since Al Gore invented the internet, two guys named Harry G Psaros and Crazy Paco started this $hit, AOL was the host, it took 10 minutes to load a page of messages and it was all Pitt recruiting news. It’s been a guilty pleasure and colossal waste of precious time ever since."We". 🤣 🤣

Go ahead and schedule those tomato cans and see how many more empty seats there are.Yeah since Cinci, Tennessee, Oklahoma State really packed the stadium. Hardly any open seats for those games right?
Maybe the ACC is planning on expanding with some Irish schools? Are there any Portuguese schools with solid brands?BTW, Florida State and Georgia Tech are scheduled to play in Ireland next year.
They must be trying to make this a yearly event.
I have no problems with that. My problem was having it the same year as WVU. Or playing Oklahoma State the week immediately following Penn State.Tennessee had a decent crowd. Brought some fans to the Burgh.

so how many more fans attended Oklahoma State than would have attended Kent? Do you honestly think it moved the needle? Hint, I was there, it didn't.
What's 3.5 hours of national exposure and publicity on ESPN worth for a college and football program versus none at all playing Kent State?so how many more fans attended Oklahoma State than would have attended Kent? Do you honestly think it moved the needle? Hint, I was there, it didn't.

More likely the home game here will be canceled. The game in Madison will make more money, so they aren't getting rid of that. Why would Wisconsin make this deal, otherwise?I am now thinking that part of this Ireland game is that the road game at Wisconsin will be canceled, which would be great news so hopefully we can get Kent or Buffalo or UMass on the schedule instead. I can't see us playing at Wisconsin and then playing our home game in Ireland. Maybe this was some compromise by Heather to get out of this ridiculously stupid series. Now hopefully she can get out of the UConn series. Maybe play 1 game in Yankee Stadium instead of the loss she scheduled in East Hartford.

Why would Wisconsin be an automatic loss? Put Pitt in the B1G West and they win it most years, hell they'd have a shot at it this year.Maybe the B10 will be going to 10 conference games? It makes no sense to schedule these 2 losses, neither at home. Maybe Heather is trying to sabotage football to have more money for volleyball
