Anyone enjoy the first week back for most leagues? My squad earned a win while most others dropped points so it was a good week for me.

one thing I’ll say. I watched MC v Arsenal during the week and I thought the fake crowd noise was over the top. Yesterday, it seemed as though they turned it down a bit and I have to say that it was fine. Certainly it wasn’t perfect and nothing like the real thing...but I didn’t find myself thinking that I was watching a game in an empty stadium.

I loved it being back. The subtle noise definitely made it more enjoyable. City playing really well definitely helped my well being, lol.

The "crowd noise" is silly. I mean you can see that many of these places have the lower level tarpped, so who do they think they are fooling? Have people never really watched a sporting event that didn't have a big crowd before so that they think that unless there's all sorts of background noise going on that they aren't really watching a game?

Not trying to fool anyone. But it’s made it as normal as possible. I’ve noticed a difference in NBC’s production this week vs last week, and it’s fine for me. The only thing I don’t like is when the person with their finger on the crowd noise button is slow to the draw on scoring chances and goals.

Fake crowd noise is not normal.

I'm sure you've been at plenty of soccer games where there wasn't a lot of crowd noise. Was the game any less real?
It’s a matter of preference obviously and I don’t feel as though I’m watching a different product. I did feel that way watching a Bundesliga game a couple of weeks ago. I talk to plenty of soccer people as I know you do too. I also listen to XMFC often and the opinion is certainly split. You and I are a microcosm of that.
Btw, I couldn’t be happier right now after watching my Blues beat Man City. What a game.

I didn't get to see it, but I did watch the highlights this evening. What a goal by Pulisic.
He’s 2nd on the team in goals and I think he’s only played in half the games due to his injuries.

Last summer, a group of us were debating what would be an acceptable expectation on Goal production for him. We all were In the 6-15 range. I believe I said I’d be happy if he were around 10. So far in all competitions he has 8 goals and 5 assists he should certainly end the year with at least 10 goals. Remarkable for the limited schedule he’s played. Looks like his total production will be close to 20 goals.
