RIP - When they made Bill they broke the mold.
With healthy legs and feet he could have been the best big man ever.
Basketball world has truly lost a national treasure. I never saw him play, but I loved him as a commentator. He brought a lighter side to the game.

Bill Walton had the greatest NCAA final game ever going 21/22 for 44 pts in just 33 minutes . What a player and what a dynasty .

It always makes me sad - and angry - whenever I hear about someone who dies from prostate cancer. Men, if you're over 40 or have a family history, get checked. Annually. As a 20 year survivor of this horrid affliction I can attest that it's treatable and curable. Call your doctor tomorrow and make an appointment to get checked

my personality and outlook on life probably conflicted with a lot of his and normally he would not be on my list of favorite people.....but damn, I just liked the guy and always enjoyed listening to him and that '77 Portland team with he and Lucas was my all time favorite NBA team...
